Monitor Antisemitische Incidenten 2024 schiet recordjaar 2023 voorbij

In 2024 heeft het aantal antisemitische incidenten in Nederland een zorgwekkend record bereikt. Uit de vandaag gepubliceerde Monitor Antisemitische Incidenten van CIDI blijkt dat er vorig jaar 421 incidenten zijn geregistreerd – een stijging van 11 procent ten opzichte van 2023, dat al als historisch hoog werd aangemerkt. Het is het hoogste aantal sinds CIDI veertig jaar geleden begon met het bijhouden van meldingen en toont aan dat antisemitisme in Nederland in alarmerend tempo toeneemt. Ter vergelijking: tussen 2012 en 2022 lag het gemiddelde aantal geregistreerde incidenten op 138 per jaar. In de afgelopen twee jaar is dit aantal met maar liefst 305 procent gestegen.
